sweet dreams

So there is no grand story behind this picture. I was sitting on Mollies bed singing both of them their favorite night time song and when I looked over at Grace she just looked so sweet. I hate bed time usually, but this night every one decided to cooperate with me. It was a miracle at the Spencer house!! I know these moments are going to be gone soon. With Colton turning 10 on Sunday it really puts time into perspective. It truly seems like a minute ago I was laying with Colt in my bed (he never slept in his own bed) singing to him. I really do love my babies more than I could ever express. They can frustrate me to no end with their messes and then melt my heart the very next second.

We took Grace shopping a few weeks ago and she fell in love with these pink converse. She made the mistake of wearing them in our muddy backyard. We have now decided that only the rubber boots are worthy of the backyard!!

dusting off the gear

Ridge decided it was time to brush off his baseball bat and see how his swing is looking this year. We tried to talk Colton into baseball this year but it looks like Ridgie is our only slugger this spring.

sunshine on sunday

For the first time in a long time we were able load the car for church in a somewhat orderly fashion. No running to avoid the rain or jumping over puddles. GP was just chillin on the porch taking in some rays.

They also had almost 2 ft of snow so if was perfect entertainment for a birthday party
